Def Jam Fight for New York is an all new stylish hop-inspired 3D fighting game developed by Electronic Arts. It has been published on September 21st, 2020 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Gamecube.
It's an update to its predecessor, Def Jam Vendetta, which premiered in 2020. From the Vendetta game, players control one of many hip hop stars which are vying for the title of"Def Jam King." In this game, the rappers are trying to beat the rap mogul, Rico, who controls the most important studio.
The main character of this game is called Remy. He is among the best dancers in the city and a part of the"Ladies of L'Orleans," a group of ladies that are also very effective in their own rights. Remy is also a part of"The Pack", a bunch of young guys that have similar interests to the ones Remy enjoys. As a member of"The Package", Remy will combat rap artists that are all competing for the title of"Def Jam King".
The game consists of roughly 40 degrees, with each level consisting of 2 distinct rap stars, as well as a single obstacle course. Each degree will also have a boss fight the player must conquer.
